      Daniel Garber was an American landscape artist in the early twentieth century known for his paintings of Bucks County, Pennsylvania and for his exemplary teaching skills. Born in Manchester, Indiana on Ap , Garber began his art education at the age of sixteen.   Pennsylvania Impressionists painted outside the state as well. Most artists live poor, and painter Edward Redfield certainly qualified—but he was also resourceful.
